Exploring Montreal & Quebec

I finally got a glimpse of some really nice cities in Canada, during my recent visit.  Although I only saw Montreal & Quebec during my trip, both cities were among the most recommended to me by locals, along with Toronto.  Canada has such an interesting history and landscape, the rest of the country deserves another visit, especially the rockies and the countryside.

Autumn in Annecy

Friends have told me that this alpine region in the mountains of France was a lovely place to visit, and I have been very fortunate to have the chance to see it for myself.  Though unplanned, my visit brought me here at the best time of the year – autumn.  As the leaves turned golden and red, the whole town held onto what was left of the solstice, before the colder winds crawled in.  It was lovely!

Off the Beaten Path: Vietnam

Naturally beautiful, exotic, and utterly captivating… Vietnam is one of those countries where you can expect to receive true Southeast Asian hospitality.  A humble country that’s been torn several times in different wars and now a communist nation, its people are naturally kind, with a happy semblance that bears no grudge or regret, only contentment and peace. On my journey I had traveled between Hanoi, Ha Long Bay, and Mai Chau… and what I saw made me fall in love with the country’s rural beauty.

Cheska & Nigel: Pre-wedding Photos

These two lovebirds from Arizona recently came to Orange County not only to celebrate the 4th of July weekend, but their 4th year anniversary of being together as well.  They’ve known each other from a really young age, and though destiny may sound a bit cheesy, fate really did work to bring them together.  Cheska & Nigel had so much humor and energy that I had a really enjoyable day taking them around to some of my favorite places in Orange County, and taking their pre-wedding photos.  I’m honored, and look forward to meeting the rest of the families in December for the actual wedding day.

Flow and Movement

Late last year, I started thinking of creating a photography series featuring people and body movement. I wanted to celebrate the beauty of strength and movement whether it be in the form of dance, yoga, or any other sport.  Luckily, the owner of the yoga studio I used to go to was interested in taking part in my little project.  She then introduced me to other yoga teachers who were also interested in the idea. One of which is Lisa Granger, one of my yoga teachers and whom I had the pleasure of working with on a photo shoot by the beach.

If you’re interested in being part of my little project, please send me a message through the contact form on this site.
